Persian Double Knot

The double knot as the name says holds the double knotting style. These carpets are adapted from Persian carpets in all respects. The design work, the choice of colors, the wool, all match the tradional Irani carpets made by high best of Pakistani weavers. The famous designs are : Kashan, Tree of Life, Nain, Isphahan, Kirman, Bakhtiari etc. The names also depict their inspiration from the cities of modern Iran (Persia). These designs are stylised by curves and florals effects taken Mughal Art (16th to 19th century India) who ruled Indopak for more than 300 years and were rich in their aesthetics and craftsmanship. The material is wool on cottn and these are very hard carpets in gripping and can serve for centuries.
